TEACHING

Holding an LRAM teaching diploma from the Royal Academy of Music, I bring an academic and holistic approach to piano pedagogy. My teaching draws on the traditions of the Russian and German schools of piano playing, combining technical rigour with expressive freedom and musical understanding. I work with students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced performers preparing for professional diplomas. My background in psychology informs a thoughtful and individualised approach to learning, helping students develop focus, confidence, and intrinsic motivation alongside technical mastery.
My students consistently achieve outstanding results in ABRSM examinations, maintaining a 100% pass rate across all grades up to FRSM, with many earning Distinction. Several have gone on to study at leading music institutions, including the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Trinity Laban Conservatoire and other top conservatoires in the UK and abroad. Above all, my goal is to nurture confident, independent musicians who play with both artistry and insight.
